ABOUT SOLAR INJECTION AUSTRALIA (SIA)

Solar Injection Australia (SiA) is an Australian business with an outstanding pedigree. Originally formed to become the Exclusive Australasian distributor of the world’s largest manufacturer of air driven liquid pumps and gas boosters, this division was sold in 1998 to the U.S principal. Since then the company has been designing new products of its own manufacture and recently changed its name to Solar Injection Australia Pty Ltd but which we refer to as SiA.

The directors of SiA have a long history designing and manufacturing engineered systems for the Oil and Gas Industry, including chemical injection packages, test equipment packages, high pressure gas systems and well head control panels. Due to this involvement in the Oil & Gas Industry we became aware of the need in the market place for a well designed Solar Powered Chemical Injection Pump (Solar-CIP) as the few such products that are available, mainly from the U.S., are of poor design.

The result of much research and many hours of testing various prototypes SiA has now released the M-Series product line which includes various types of pumps including plunger and diaphragm models that are capable of meeting an extremely wide range of flow, pressure and chemical type parameters. The range also includes an optional Electronic Timer Module and Manual Stroke (volume) Control allowing for very accurate and consistent metering. Flowing on from this series, SiA are able to offer an extensive range of electrically driven reciprocating high pressure liquid & gas pumps with various voltages and power supplies including hazardous area types.

After designing and releasing the Solar Powered Chemical Injection Pump range it was realised that many of these units would be installed in remote locations that could benefit from the ability to remotely monitor and control the pumps and associated equipment. From here the newly formed Communications division was formed.

The communications division has partnered with ORBCOMM and has moved beyond its original concepts of just a solution for pumps and now offers directly, and through its network of value added resellers (VARS) a vast range of solutions for the control and monitoring of Remote Assets in many industries that have either stationary or mobile equip located in areas where there is no cellular/mobile phone service.

With a complete end-to-end system known as iSAT we are not confined to local borders. iSAT, by its very nature is a truly Global Solution.
